Wen Wen (1989) is a visual artist who was born and raised in China. As a child Wen received prizes for her innate talent. With strong influences of her family, she was very interested in painting, drawing, fashion illustration, and sculpture.

Picturesque landscapes, birds and flowers, fabrics, and architectures were all brought to life with contrasting colors and harmonious compositions. From a young age she has believed, “You can create anything once you see it in your mind.”

Now living and working in San Jose, California, Wen will obtain her BFA in Digital Media Art at San Jose State University in late May 2019. During her college career, she has learned to work with technologies and combining her skills with various mediums such as photography, sculpture, wood-working, and ceramics.

Wen’s interdisciplinary practice bridges varied media such as installation, projection mapping, 3D modeling and printing, animation, and design; often bringing together different elements in a single piece, creating poetic and meaningful resonance through her works.
