German Acosta

He was born in Perú. He took his first Sculpture class at MALI in Lima, Perú. Then he immigrated to the United States in 2006 to pursue higher education in Sculpture and Business. He continued his training in Sculpture at Fleisher in Philadelphia. He became a sculptor’s apprentice for renowned sculptors Robert Taplin, Stephen Layne, Eóin Burke and Jim Dessicino. He holds an honorary mention for excellence in portrait sculpture at Fleisher. In 2014, he earned an Associates degree in Business administration from ACCC and in 2016 he earned a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Rutgers University. German began his entrepreneurial career when he started a micro digital Ad agency that offers augmented reality services named AdVisionPlay.com .

German is bilingual. His native language is Spanish. He Interned as a web administrator and an assistant for Project Manager in the execution of the Artlantic project in Atlantic City.

He gained experience in researching the latino audience in Atlantic County for a local newspaper “Llego el Correo of AC” He is passioned for art initiatives. He became a seasonal art teacher assistant to teach teenagers the opportunity to explore their artistic abilities using body paint and Photography at Fleisher in Philadelphia.

He is also training in technical art forms such bas-relief, 3d sculpting, 3d printing, drawing, painting, photography and film.
