Joseph R. Cairone has almost 40 years of experience as a practicing landscape architect. He feels strongly that landscape architects should be knowledgeable in all aspects of a project from conceptualization to implementation. With an enduring interest in in traditional drawing and painting, this believe was complementing by his involvement in a family-owned construction company prior to receiving his education at both Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania.

In support of the firm’s work, his responsibilities as a design principal have involved extensive travel along the Northeastern seaboard and Gulf Coasts associated with diverse project types. Informed by such travelling, Joe’s approach to design lies in the respect of natural systems and native habitats and investigating methods to incorporate those characteristics into the built environment.

He is continually involved in the initial design phase throughout ensuing implementation of the development of all projects.
